Zero Foam Waste

Historically, XLPE foam remnants were typically incinerated or sent to landfills. Today, our material reuse process helps partners around the world keep valuable foam materials in use while reducing their environmental impact.

Together we make sure that 0% foam goes to waste.

Which solution suits you best?

Because XLPE foam is a high-volume material, efficient collection and transportation are essential. Since 1990, we have developed a range of proven collection methods that help manage XLPE foam remnants in the most cost-effective way.

We primarily process closed-cell, cross-linked XLPE and XPP foam. Depending on material quality and specifications, other foam types may also be suitable.

The most effective collection solution depends on factors such as material thickness, density, volume, scrap dimensions, prior treatments, and the distance to our processing facility.

Contact us to find out whether your foam remnants are suitable for our process and which collection method is the best fit for your business.

Collection solutions include:

Pressed bales

Shredded foam residues

Collection bags

Load rolls

DAFA Shredder at plant

Shredder at your plant

For selected partners, we can provide an on-site shredder to process foam remnants directly at their facility. The resulting foam flakes are then collected and transported to our processing facility.

This approach reduces transport volume, improves logistics efficiency and can significantly lower transportation costs.
